The apollo is running a two day charter this weekend and needs two people. The trip is limited to only 20 people and departs on Thurs. night at 9pm and returns on Sat. night around 7pm. Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-08-2019 What a sweet ride down we've had beautiful weather! Made good speed and had a nice early arrival this morning into the fishing grounds. Fishing started off tough. Actually it was brutal! You would catch and release 30 skipjack just to catch one keeper yellowfin tuna. We would catch a Wahoo here and there to spice things up but it just wasn't working. Finally after 10 hours of get in all jacked up, AKA skipjack, Things started going our way. It was like somebody flipped a switch! For the next four hours we had a very consistent bite on quality yellowfin tuna ,right into the dark. Our weather stayed great all day and were going to try our luck here again tomorrow. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

We had some short range trips online and were able to catch a good amount of school sized fish and 3 jumbo tuna! Including the First 2 cow tuna to come aboard the Polaris Supreme in 4 years!

Hello everyone, Today was a slow day. We spent it offshore working some great looking water stopping on kelp and other floating things. However the fish we found were not the most willing to bite. However we did finish the day successfully making mackerel for tomorrow. Hopefully the tuna and Wahoo have a taste for these local Mackerel. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Hi friends. I've changed my name and occupation. I am now a 007 agent and my name is Pierce Bronzin'. The bronzing was just dandy today. Justin Thompson, get you're tanning oil ready. It was sick hot today and sunny like Cher liked it. Anyhow, the fishing was sporadic. We had a few stops in the morning on those twenty-five to forty pound yellowfin, went through a long lull, and then a little after lunch we got on a kelp that was once again, aquarium-style fishing. All you wanted on football yellowfin with a couple of standouts and some really nice flatheads too. On yesterday's aquarium-style stop, we opened up our siphon valves to the deck tanks and looked over the side of the hull to see a foamer of yellowfin, yellowtail, and dorado on our dead sardines that accumulate in the bottom of our deck wells. Awesome. Today, we did some lift-polin' which was fun too. Just letting you know that when I say aquarium-style, I mean aquarium-style. Hundreds of fish swimming in front of your eyes at any time is a sight to see and we're thankful that we've seen it twice in as many days. Sweet.

With that, we took only a few boxes full of tuna and dorado, released all the three pound yellowtail, and then we kept on with our search for trophies. From this point until trips end, will be hunting strictly trophies as far as our tuna agenda goes. Let's hope that they show up and we can get them located and do some damage. We'll get the camera out for those, for sure.

For tomorrow, we'll be doing some yellowtail fishing and we'll take it from there. Wish us luck and we'll chat with you tomorrow.

Our good morning has continued on and it's been absplutely great fishing here." Mike continued, "So far we have limits of Yellowtail & 150 Yellowfin tuna. The fishing is very good, the kelp fishing is very good & there is really nice weather to go with it. The weather is supposed to continue for the next few days.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. The water rolled at the Coronado Islands and the Yellowtail have stopped biting. We had 5 Bluefin Tuna today. We had 3 fish around 75 pounds and 1 fish weighing in at 120 pounds and the biggest fish was a 130 pounder.

The fish are biting fly-lined baits but they are really biting the Poppers. Make sure you bring you 50 pound out at a minimum.
We have seen some fishing pushing 200 pounds but we have not caught one of them yet!

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 11-27-2018 The tuna started biting right away this morning! We had three going right off the bat in the gray light. We stayed real consistent all the way until about 11 AM keeping 3 to 5 going most of the time. It slowed the rest of the day but we still continue to pick right into the dark. Most of the fish were around 80 pounds with a few in the 60 pound range. Another great day of fishing! Our weather has been great. And of course were going to do this tomorrow. Wish us luck.
