Hello again anglers. We have a trip coming up that has a few openings. This one is July 2 and 3. Cost is $500.00. Limited to 20 passengers. Cost includes food and permits. Please contact Patrick at 702-375-0010. Should be a great time. Hope to see you there.

Capt Matt and the boys are engaged with a school of bluefin. They currently have 7 on deck and few more hanging. The fish they have landed so far are 25-35 lbs. I’m sure the big boys are watching and waiting for their opportunity to bite someone’s light line. Come prepared with a 25 lb setup a 40 lb setup and a setup capable of landing a fish over 100 lbs. the variety of available fish sizes creates a bit of a pickle but trust me when I tell you. You want to use heavier than needed equipment rather than the opposite.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had very good fishing for Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. We group ended up with 61 Yellowtail and 10 Barracuda. We did have 4 small Yellowtail that we released. So we had a total of 65 Yellowtail today.

The Yellowtail were biting on surface iron, fly-lined baits, and yo-yo jigs. Today we had 6 or 7 good shots at the fish.

Today we had some decent Tuna and Wahoo fishing. It was for sure a grind but we were able to capitalize on a few shots on both Tuna and Wahoo. The Wahoo were good grade and really keyed in on the mackerel we caught last night. So it was as good thing we put in the work in to catch them! The shot at tuna yielded a great grade of fish . 20-40 lbers. The only downside is that they quit biting when the current died. Tomorrow we will try for wahoo and Dorado on kelps wish us luck ! Good evening everyone, Today we had a great day of yellowtail fishing. It was by no means a slam dunk. However our persistence paid off. The fish never seemed to settle into a certain part of the water column. The bottom dropper loop, mid water flyline with sliding sinker, and strait fly line with no weight were all working at different times. We were able to get everyone some yellows on the boat. All the yellowtail were excellent quality. 18-30 lbs, cant complain about the size! Tomorrow we are going after yellowfin tuna. Wish us luck! Team supreme

We had 36 passengers today catch 180 Yellowfin Tuna (LIMITS), 7 Dorado, 50 Yellowtail and 50 Skipjack. We had a long run to get these fish but we had great. It was a one done deal!

Here is a suggested tackle list for our 5:30 - 5:00 Coronado island trips for February and March. (1) a yo-yo outfit, this outfit should be a 20 or 30 size reel spooled with 40 lb. monofilament. Any 6 - 8 ft. rod rated for 40 lb. will work good. (2) Deep water cod rod. This outfit should be a 20 or 30 size reel spooled with 65 or 80 lb. spectra. Any 6-8 ft. rod capable of handling a 16 oz. sinker will work good. (3) a 25 or 30 lb. live bait outfit. This outfit should be a 20 size reel spooled with 25 or 30 lb. monofilament. A 7-8 ft. Rod rated for 25-30 lb. will be perfect. TERMINAL TACKLE. An assortment of torpedo sinkers from 6-16 ounces. A dozen rockcod hooks. We really like Mustad EZ baiters in the 10/0 size. A pack of size 2/0 live bait hooks. We really like Mustad 94150 A couple of heavy lures. Salas 6x jr and Salas 6x in blue/white and scrambled egg are perfect. Most of our trips we have been fishing deep water in the morning and shallow water in the afternoon. As soon as we see yellowtail the rock fishing will take a back seat.

                  Thank you very much Eric Rogger and gang for making it a fun filled five days.  We hope you all enjoyed your time aboard as much as the crew enjoyed fishing with you.  It was really a spectacular catch to see once it was all laid out on the deck this morning.  The jack pot winners were again up there in the 40 pound range, with One Hour To Glory, Doug Aihara coming in first place with a 47.2 lb.
