POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-23-2020 We departed today on Joe Becks annual 8 day trip.The weather is great and our bait stinks. lots of spinners. hopefully enough will cure out to make the trip. Not much to report the usual rigging eating and napping. The picture is of our new storage box an rod holders we built in the bow to replace the old bait tank. We will be traveling all day tomorrow. Aug 15

Good evening folks. We departed today on the long running Heil 5 day charter with a bunch of familiar faces and a handfull of welcomed new ones. Our first stop was the bait recievers and boy oh boy did we get a good load of bait. Best one of the year thus far. Healthy, slimy and lively. It all starts there. It was a normal departure day of lunch, naps and fishing seminars. With mixed reports from slow to ok in the bluefin zone, we're going to start off looking in the area we finished up looking in yesterday. We'll see what we come up with and take it from there. Wish us luck.

Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! Hi friends. Sorry about the lack of reports lately. We've been off the past couple of days as the weather put a delay in our final coat of gloss on the hull and with a break in the weather yesterday, the final coat was applied and it looks terrific. You can shave by looking at the boat and seeing yourself in the reflection. I'll send some photos when all the scaffolding is broken down and trucked away to show you some good shots at how good it looks. As for today, we proceeded back tour normal schedule of 0700 to 1600 hours and we're back to grinding and sanding. Our final major paint projects include the "bus stop", engine room hatch, bait tank and throwing new rock and painting the deck. With all hope, we should be back in the water sometime next week. Cross your fingers!

So that is all. Seeing that we've had the past couple of days off, we'll be working tomorrow to get everything set up to have the Strontium coat applied on monday to the bait tank, bus stop, and engine room access hatch. Hopefully, it won't be too long of day and we'll be able to arrive home in time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We'll chat with you sometime in the next couple of days and enjoy your weekend.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in to report the totals for today's trip to the Coronado Islands. We had 45 nice sized yellowtail. Please bring your 40 or 50 pound outfits. You can book online at Seaforth Sportfishing. The boat is departing again tomorrow at 5:30 AM. Let's go fishing!

 Hello again everybody. I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely Labor Day today. I know we sure did. It's hard not to with the kind of weather we're having right now. We could have not caught a fish today and we'd still be enjoying it. That's not how it went though. It went as planned. I knew we wouldn't have the kind of day we had yesterday. Wahoo fishing doesn't work that way. They need a rest after a whoopin. I told the passengers we'd stay until lunch and if we caught a quarter of what we caught yesterday we'd be stoked. We caught more then a quarter of what we caught yesterday and we're stoked. Distance wise it didn't make since to stick it out until dark for a few more handfuls of wahoo as apposed to leaving at lunch like we did to get into tomorrows fishing grounds at a reasonable hour. So we took off at lunch time and we'll be in the yellowtail grounds tomorrow at daylight. At least I'm hoping it's the yellowtail grounds.
