Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning at 10:41 with an update from the Tribute. So far we have 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a couple Bluefin Tuna. We are running another trip departing on Monday. O.k. O.k. I'm sorry. I missed a day. I had fishing on my mind and I forgot about you guys. The next day was worth our while. It was slow at times but we put together some good stops. We bailed out of the grounds before dark to put ourselves in position for the next quest, Bluefin. The weather couldn't of been better today. We found a school of BF a couple hours after first light and for the next two and a half hours it was quite the show. Bluefin were flying out of the water doing flips, cartwheels and other various tricks. Unfortunately they weren't very interested in our anglers baits. We did hook four and landed three that taped out at 99,120, and 127. I always get the measurements wrong so they'll probably weigh more when we weigh them at the dock tomorrow morning. It's like a lake for our ride in which will make the rack of lamb tonight all that better.

Hello Everyone, Today we spent the afternoon looking for this northern tuna. We were able to find a few schools and random fish marks that did not want to bite and only equated to only a hand full of strikes. After an afternoon of trying until the early evening we eventually had to call it a trip and start heading up to San Diego. We would like to thank Mark Costello for both spending his birthday with us and putting together another great charter! We cant wait till next year! our ETA is 5 am tomorrow. Team Supreme

Wow, what a frustrating day. Great signs, many schools, but not one that wanted to bite real good. A couple of the boats did ok, so there are still some fish that wanted to bite. Just not the ones under us. On an up note, Jim landed one that is right on the fence at 199 lbs. Our weather is still beautiful, and Pedro is still putting out great food like the veal shank we had tonight. We are optimistic that our luck will change tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

 Well good evening everyone.  We're out and about again this weekend.  If we book them, we will fish.  So we took the week off, handled stuff and showed up today at 3:00, fired everything up and she's running great.  We got our bait, which was straight anchovy, no sardine in sight they say.  That's OK for this kind of fishing.  We're headed out.  Tuna fishing.  See you tomorrow.
        
 

Game fish eluded us today. So we loaded up our freezers with fresh rockfish. Skip the grocery store nausea. Have some fun and harvest your own seafood. We need reservations to run. Call Seaforth Landing (616)224-3383.

Hello everyone, Today we were traveling up the line and looking for kelps. We found one kelp that was loaded with Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado. It was as good as it gets, like an aquarium in the water. We fished until everyone was content with the number of fish they tagged. Fishing was so good they were eating the trolling lures bring dipped in the water. Very fun to say the least. We may have some time to fish tomorrow for a little bit depending on our speed. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Aug. 23

Let me wine for a few sentences please. With the exception of a 3 day window in the second week, we haven't had two days of good weather in a row in the whole month of August. It's tough to even make it a full day with good weather. Windy August 2013. Screw you August. Needless to say it's not very comfortable traveling right now. Good weather early turned to blown out pre lunch, then backed off for an hour , now blown out again.

OK, I'm done now. Slow fishing today. We had three deals today that didn't bite all that well. 8 out of 1, 14 out of another and then we had 1 for 1 and then we called it a trip. Oh well, we still had an awesome trip. We'll be in tomorrow after 7:00 in the morning and the big guy will be taking it out for a 5 day trip.
