Good Evening, Our last day of fishing started off early and i mean 0230 early! with the kites out and everyone soaking baits and dropping jigs down hoping for that early morning tuna bite , a few fish were hooked but won their freedom, Once the sun came up we went into search mode again, We found the wahoo and tuna under bird schools very willing to take our baits with the wahoo began charging the boat in packs, with only a few hours to fish before heading for the cape, We put our fair share of them on the boat before calling it a trip. We are now headed for Cabo! Gunny and Supreme Team.

Sep. 16

Today was a bust for us in the yellowtail grounds. We arrived pre daylight and Tommy stopped on some yellows so we fished it in the dark and fished it in the light for nothing. We looked around after that and all the key ingredients were there. Bait life, bird life, and schools of yellowtails were all around but it wouldn't go. Just a handful of bites. After giving it a few hours to get with it for not a whole lot we decided not to hang out and burn a day doing it. We're on the move to the wahoo grounds. We're ready for them too. We did the wahoo seminar and everyone spent the afternoon rigging up wire leaders for the toothy fish. We'll be where we'll be at or soon after daylight and we're hoping for some wahoo action. If not wahoo let's hope we can get some action on the tuna,pargo and yellowtails. Let's also hope for low wind velocity. It was getting pretty windy this afternoon and it's currently traveling faster down then we are.

So far this year we have had absolutely phenomenal yellowtail fishing as well as a better chance than ever, in the history of Southern California to catch a bluefin over 200lbs! We are excited to announce we have multiple openings on trips that will be targeting these big grade of yellowtail, nice yellowfin and trophy size bluefin! Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-16-2016 Good afternoon guys. Fishing has been tough these last two days. We didn't end up putting any more fish on the boat after that afternoon report. Knowing the fact that the Yellowfin grounds would be crowded with boats today and not seeing a great sign of biting fish, we decided to rig up the big gear and run down to the trophy Bluefin Tuna grounds. We set up the boat early this morning in an area in which we had multiple schools of big Bluefin on the sonar at one time. We ended up hooking two fish and landing one monstrous 118 pound trophy Bluefin Tuna. Both of these fish were hooked on jigs. The second Bluefin we hooked chewed his way through line and escaped. We will be on the hunt for the big Bluefin for the rest of the day. This trip will depart on Saturday night the 5th and fish Sunday the 6th of April. The weather is supposed to be getting much better and shouldn't be a factor on the trip. Ling cod season is open and we will be looking for seabass as well. Please call Sea Landing for reservations at (805) 564-6753.

Hello everyone, Today we started out our six day trip locally. There was excellent sign of 20-30lb Yellowfin tuna. However they did not cooperate that well. We are headed west in search of larger Bluefin. Wish us Luck, Team Supreme

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Hi friends. Just a real dandy of a day for us today. We started it out in the morning with the yellowtail snap and then we followed it up in the afternoon with Monday night footballs. The footballs were all you wanted and we also added a small handful of dorado to our days count. We did all of this in flat calm conditions and the boys are all wore out from the excellent fishing that we had today. Everybody's pumped and I screamed myself hoarse today.

For tomorrow, we're looking for tuna with a little more size as one of our code boats had a nice afternoon on those premium grade offshore yellowfin tuna so we'll be in the area looking around for a few ourselves. The boys enjoyed a twenty-two year old Cabernet sauvigon tonight and I think Robin and Wayne might have shed a tear together while talking about it. I still haven't had any but the dudes looked pretty glossy-eyed so I imagine it was pretty darn good.

Anyhow, the Blue/White gang is having a super duper fantastic time catching fish, drinking cocktails/wine, and eating Chef Shawn's culinary creations. Our weather forecast is looking good for tomorrow so hopefully we can get on a big ole' school of big yellowfin. Wish us luck.
