fished at fraser island today, started early around sunrise, but it was kinda drizzly. water was a bit choppy with the wind pickin up later in the day. managed to catch a couple of nice flathead, maybe like 50cm each, used some pike as bait and a light surf rod. had to move spots a bit when the rain started but it was worth it! got a good bite right before sunset, feels good to be out there even if the weather’s not perfect. can’t wait to try again tomorrow!
