went out to the coastwatch this mornin with the crew, little drizzly but we braved it! water temp felt nice, around 17C i think. we ended up catchin a couple of flatheads, they were around 50-55cm, not huge but hey, still fun! used a 1/4 oz jig head with some soft plastics, worked like a charm. wind was a bit crazy at times, but we managed. had some laughs and good banter, so it was a solid day overall. came back home soaked but happy! hope to do it again soon!
