fished at alpine today, what a chill day! it was partly cloudy and a bit fresh out but it felt good on the water. started around sunrise (7:32 AM), threw out my little spinner rigged with some local worms. first fish was a solid 4lb rainbow trout, caught it within the first hour! then just as i was about to call it a day, bam! hooked a bigger one, probably around 5 lbs. it was epic! water temp was a bit chilly but the fish were def hungry. only a light breeze, nice day overall. good vibes, can’t wait to go back!
