wyoming Fishing Report 2024

The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

Strung together a lot of short stops and ended with 45 yellowtail.

Today we switched gears to Wahoo fishing. It was quite a bit of work but our persistence payed off with a couple nice stops on Wahoo. The fish are beautiful and the grade is excellent. we will be here tomorrow to try and get another crack at them. Here we have Alan with an absolute Jumbo Wahoo!

The past couple of days we have seen some very large schools of yellowtail. Today we went out with 31 anglers and caught 14 yellowtail. If you have ever wanted to catch a 25 lb. yellow on the surface iron, this is the time for you. Bring a yo-yo rod a bait rod and a surface iron rod if you are coming out.

The Pacifica called in with 2 Overnight trips coming up in March out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing.

Overnight leaving March 5 10PM and returning the next day at 7PM. And another Overnight leaving March 6th 10 PM and returning the next day at 7PM.

Hi friends. Our final fishing day was spent pulling on big, beautiful yellowtail in the 18-25 lb. class with a couple of standouts here and there. These fish were hittin' on the yo-yo iron real nice and the guys are all worn out from all the crankin' they did today. It was a nice way to end the trip on a high note and at days end, we had to call it a trip and begin our trek back to San Diego. We'll be traveling all day tomorrow to arrive back to the docks on Saturday morning. The seas are beautiful at the moment and it's looking like we'll have more of the same for tomorrow. We'll report back with you tomorrow night.

After a 5+ hour drift we pointed for home with 50 bluefin(20-60lbs) and 42 yellowfin(15-35lbs). Never know what we might see on the ocean. Bring rods to fish 20-40lb line and size 4-2/0 hooks.

Fishing was a little tough off shore today. There was yellowfin for everyone and we got a few dorado on kelp, but not the big hits like we have been getting. Fished the island with very little signs and only a handful of yellowtail. Tomorrow we will be looking around the island. Weather is decent, and looks like it will be getting better tomorrow. Ok guys we are just finishing up the last few items on our maintenance list. We plan to start fishing daily on Saturday February 2. These trips will be targeting yellowtail at the Coronado islands. If we do not see yellowtail we will target bottom fish. Bring a yo-yo rod a live bait rod and a rock cod outfit. These trips will cost $105 which includes your Mexican permit. Come join us !
