fished madison lake today, it was overcast and kinda chilly. caught a few smaller fish, nothing too big but still a good day. used a bright yellow jig, seemed to do okay. just nice to be out on the water, ya know?
went fishing today, had a little patchy rain but it cleared up. ended up landing a nice 6lb bass, my personal best! used a crankbait and it attracted them like crazy. couldn't stop smiling, what a rush!
we hit the lake again today, weather was nice but overcast. fish were biting less than expected, only managed to get 3 small ones. still enjoyed the peacefulness tho. used my favorite spinnerbait, maybe next time they'll be more active.
fishing trip this morning was awesome! sunny and warm, caught 5 bass, best was 5.5lbs on a wacky rigged worm. water was clear, could see them lurking around. even got a sunburn, haha, but worth it for sure!
sunny day on madison lake, finally! caught a few bass, biggest was about 4lbs. used a topwater frog and it was like a scene from a fishing show, explosions everywhere! perfect day to be out, not much wind, just lovely sunshine.
