Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!! Captain Cameron Cribben checked in this evening with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we had 17 anglers catch 6 Yellowfin Tuna and 7 Bluefin Tuna (up to 192 pounds). The Yellowfin Tuna were in the 15 to 18 pound class. The Bluefin Tuna were 25 to 35 pounds and we had 2 over 100 including this beautiful 192 pounder. The opportunity to capture a fish of a life time continues.

We just received word from the county that we are clear to go fishing starting tomorrow We will be fishing offshore for tuna and yellowtail. Please bring a 25 lb bait rod a 40 or 50 lb bait rod and a then a setup capable of landing a 100+ pound fish. Assorted circle hooks and some fluorocarbon. Some Shimano Flatfalls are always a good call. Call Seaforth at 619-224-3383. First come first serve. (30 pass max)

Polaris Supreme Report 07-22-2016 Happy Friday everyone! We elected to stay the night at the same place as yesterday, in hopes of another action packed day of yellowtail fishing . We got the anchor down and started fishing around 5:30, to stage ourselves for the morning hit. As the misty morning came upon us we began to hook some nice yellowtail. We were finally starting to hit our stride when the fish quit biting. As the sky cleared it seemed as the yellows did too. We tried several spots that amounted to a slow pick throughout the day. Unfortunately we finished off the day without the wall to wall action yellowtail hit we were hoping for. However we still scratched up some quality fish. We feel very fortunate to have had such a great day of fishing yesterday. After fishing hard into the early afternoon we finally set a course for Point Loma to and wrap up this great 5 day trip. We have smooth sailing for the ride up and are looking at 7:00 am at the dock. We currently have a four day online departing August 2nd that still has a couple openings. July 6

Today went as planned. We did about what we thought we'd do. Scratched at yellowfin most of the day. Our best stop was for 7, then 6, we had a handfull of 4's and the rest were 3's 2's and 1's. That's exactly how the tuna fishing has been on a good day for the last few weeks so we had a good day.

The weather did what it was supposed to do. It was beautiful in the morning and got breezy in the afternoon. It looks like the wind backed off when it got dark. Hopefully it stays that way. We're heading down to Cedros Island now and we'll be there at day break.

Bring a yo-yo rod if you are coming out with us tomorrow. There has been some yellowtail sightings in La Jolla.
