fished at waynes words early today, woke up to overcast skies which was cool but did bring some good luck! got out around 6am, the fish were biting pretty good despite the wind. landed a few calicos and a couple of sand bass, all around 2-5 lbs. used a light tackle setup with 10lb test on a spinning reel, and some topwater lures. felt great to feel those hits! wrapped it up just before noon when the wind picked up a bit, overall a solid day. gonna head back out tomorrow to see if I can land some bigger ones!
