wow what a day! so we hit up the river around 7 am despite the rain. i was worried the fish wouldn't bite but man was i wrong! ended up catching 5 decent catfish, biggest was around 8lbs! just using chicken liver on a bottom rig. the rain was heavy at times but it kept the crowds away, which was awesome. the wind picked up a bit but not enough to ruin the fun. got soaked but it was worth every minute, sunset was killer too! definitely going back next week.
