fished at waubay today, fog was thick in the mornin! it cleared up later and i caught a few nice perch. had my spinning rod with a small bobber and worms. they were biting pretty good in the misty water. overall a relaxing day!
went back to waubay lake today. rain was light but kinda chilly. didn’t take long but i hooked a nice 5lb bass! used a soft plastic worm. had to take cover a few times, but it was worth it. lake was super peaceful
what a messy day out on waubay! heavy rain made it hard to see and the wind was crazy strong, felt like a hurricane! still managed to catch a couple of bass, around 2.5 lbs each. used a dark colored crankbait – they were hittin it hard despite the weather!
was at the lake today, rain was sporadic and super cold. i brought my kayak, thought i could get in some sheltered spots. got 2 nice walleyes but had to work for em. slow jigs worked better than trolling, trust me. wear them layers folks!
man, today was a tough one. went out to waubay with my gear but it was rainy and real windy. didn’t catch a single thing! just one of those days I guess. my buddy lost his favorite lure too. guess we’ll try again when it clears up
