hey everyone! just got back from a fishing trip to Minocqua with my buddy. we woke up super early, around 5am, and hit the lake just as the sun was coming up. the weather was kinda wild, a bit thundery but that didn’t stop us. temperature was nice, around 24°C, and we were using some new gear i just got - a nice lightweight rod with 10lb test line. managed to catch 4 pike and a couple of smaller walleye! pike were hitting on the white swimbait, especially near the reeds. even with the wind pickin up later, we still had a blast. can’t wait to go back next weekend and see if we can get some bigger ones! tight lines! 🎣
