Truman Lake Fishing Report

fishing was rough today on the 25th. felt like the lake was angry with all the heavy rain! ended up catching nothing, just a lot of soggy gear. tried my luck with some crankbaits but the wind was a pain. got home exhausted but hey, still had a good time chilling by the water

ugh, more rain on the 19th! got soaked but still managed to snag a couple nice catfish. used chicken liver for bait, they love that stuff in the rain. but with the wind picking up, it was hard to keep my lines straight. still fun tho, just love being out there

had a great day! went out on the 13th, weather was perfect, sunny and warm but not too hot. got a ton of bites! caught five nice bass, biggest was about 5lbs. threw a buzzbait around the edges of the weeds. they were hungry! couldn’t have asked for a better time on the water

fished the same spot again today, and guess what? still not a lot of action. caught one bass around 2 lbs in between the rain showers. felt like the rain just made them hide or something. but the air was fresh and the scenery was nice so can't complain too much!

man, today was a washout! heavy rain made it tough. I only managed to catch a small bass before the downpour got serious. thought I was gonna float away! had my trusty 7’ rod with a trusty spinner, but with the rain, the bite was on and off. super disappointing but hey, that's fishing!
