took a nice chilled trip today with some friends. mist was kinda eerie but cool. caught 2 little bass, nothing big, but used some spinners that worked well. we just enjoyed the views and joked around, perfect way to spend a day off, even without a lot of catches!
cloudy again, but I went out anyway for a few hours. only caught a few small guys, but hey, that’s fishing! I tried a couple new lures but nothing really worked. brought some snacks and just kicked back, good company makes it all better!
fishing was pretty great today! got a late start but once the sun was out it was on. landed my personal best at 6lbs! used a plastic worm in the shallows. gotta love the overcast days for bass, they were hungry! weather was warm and just perfect.
hit the lake in the morning with my dad, overcast skies but it was a decent temp. caught a couple of perch but nothing big. still a nice time to just relax and cast, sometimes it’s not about the catch, ya know? we’ll be back for sure for the bigger ones!
went back out on the lake today, weather was nicer but still cloudy. caught 3 keeper bass, all around 2-3lbs. got them on a crankbait, they were hiding near the rocks. the wind picked up a bit, but we had fun. just chillin with the crew made it all worth it.
