finally some sun!! spent the day at steamboat lake and it was fab. caught a big ol' 6lb trout and a few smaller ones too! using a silver spoon, they just couldn't resist. relaxed by the shore with friends, had some laughs, and enjoyed the nice weather. can't wait to go back
the weather was kinda crazy today, bit of rain but I still hit the water. landed a couple of decent trout around 1.5lbs each on a pink powerbait. saw a few others catching too, so it was cool! nice to see some action on the lake, even with the drizzle.
rainy again! caught a few small ones but nothing worth bragging about. it was chilly but I tried my new jig setup and it was a blast. had a few bites, but they weren't committing. should've brought my raincoat but it was fun anyway, always nice to be outside
what a wet one! got soaked out here, serious rain at times. but I still managed to land a 5lb large mouth bass! used a topwater frog and it worked like a charm. felt like a champ even tho I had to dry myself off in the truck. lake was pretty empty, guess no one likes the rain lol
today was a bit rough, patchy rain had us on our toes. fished from 7am and only got one small perch. tried everything in my tackle box but they just weren't biting. it was cold too, wish I brought my warmer jacket but hey, that's fishing right?
