St Joe Bay Fishing Report

another foggy day on the bay but got some good bites! added a couple of small grouper to the cooler. used some cut bait and it did the trick. the fog made it kinda spooky, but loved every minute of it. can’t beat fishing regardless of the weather!

fog so thick i could barely see a few feet in front of me! but hey, caught a nice big trout, felt like a trophy! used a soft plastic and it worked! it was real eerie but super peaceful out there. just me, my gear, and the fish!

fishing in the fog this morning was wild! visibility was low but i managed to hook into some nice sheepshead around the docks. used fiddler crabs, always the secret weapon! fog cleared by noon, turned out to be a great day in the bay.

more rain today, but hit the bay anyway. managed to pull out a nice 7lb red and a couple of smaller ones. was using dark jigs. even with the weather, it's always a good day fishing

overcast again but decided to go for it. finally landed a solid 25” redfish near the jetties! used a live pinfish on a circle hook, they were hungry! felt like it was a good day despite the gray skies, sometimes that’s when they bite best.
