overcast again on the 27th, but it didn’t stop me! caught a bunch of bluegill and even a nice 4lb bass. used a light tackle setup with some plastic worms. felt good to catch that one big boy! wind picked up a bit but no complaints here!
got out to Spring Lake on the 25th despite the patchy rain. i was lucky to reel in a solid 5lb catfish! used cut bait at the bottom. my arms hurt but it was so worth it! even had a good laugh when the rain started pouring - we just kept fishing
hit up Spring Lake again on the 18th, weather was kind of blah. ended up just catchin' a couple of perch, nothin' big. used worms on a bobber, classic setup. just nice bein’ out there even if the fish weren’t biting much. always a good time
sunny day finallyyyyy! got to Spring Lake at 8am for some serious fishin'. i was using a buzzbait and landed 5 bass, all around 3lbs. the water was a bit warmer today too. felt awesome just hangin' out, fishin' with friends. can't beat it
overcast skies but that didn’t stop me! hit the lake just after sunrise and caught 2 smallies, around 2 lbs each. went with a topwater popper and they were all over it. love the excitement when they hit the surface! gotta go back soon
