We had a fun day fishing beautiful quality yellowtail. Most were 30 lbs. or larger. Our weather is gorgeous. We will be heading off to look for bluefin and albacore tomorrow. Thanks, Tommy

Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!! Hello everyone Today the water is noticeably warmer and cleaner than yesterday. We started off the day fishing for tuna. The grade was still that better sized fish 13-25 lbs. It just did not bite in the volume that we were hoping for, still great action though. In between anchor jobs we trolled around for Wahoo. Picking one off here and there, keeping things interesting. We feel that we are content with the tuna we have on board and are in search of more Wahoo tomorrow. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Nov. 12

Today was spent fishing our way north. We started in the dark where passenger Matty hooked the mystery fish that spooled him. We then headed north and found ourselves on the bottom end of the ridge where we got the last passenger who didn't have a wahoo a nice one. Now everyone on board has at least one skin. There was a nice school of nice yellowfin there but we couldn't get one of them to bite. Conditions were good, they just wouldn't hit. We then headed north. The next spot produced another nice wahoo but lacked anything else to go with it so we headed north. Right when the sun was going down and after it was down we hit a school of yellowfin that bit until dinner. We tried a couple more spots after dinner for nothing and are now headed north in good weather. All that northerly travel today left us some time to fish tomorrow and it will be spent trying for more wahoo and some yellowtail fishing. Yellowtail is the one species we don't have a lot of this trip so hopefully we'll use a few tags on those tomorrow.

Today was a travel day. The weather is good and the anglers are excited to start fishing. Lunch we dined on chicken fettuccine and dinner was veal chop with bacon wrapped asparagus and lobster potatoes. We should be fishing by mid-day tomorrow.

August 7
    I'm pretty sure I have written a report very similar to this one not too long ago but here we go anyways.  We had a good morning and a good evening today.  It was the in between part that stunk for us.  It was a long afternoon but you always forget about the afternoon when you're pulling on fish into dark.  I don't even remember anymore.  Anyways we ended up with just shy of a hundred tuna for the day and we're going to drift all night and start where we end up in the morning.  We will be drifting because it is fantastic weather and we don't need to put out the sea anchor or idle up and down swell all night because it's good drifting.

 

July 21
  Well, we started off in the hot yellowtail zone this morning.  Us and 4 of the other long range boats.  I'm not at all going to call it a bust, it just wasn't what we were hoping/expecting.  Things were a little on the slow side.  It perked up for a little while but it was short lived.  It wasn't bad.  I mean we caught almost 50 yellows there before lunch.  And they were nice ones too, let me tell you.  26 pound average is my guess without weighing a single one.  Maybe 28, OK.  But by lunch it was done, done, done.  So we got mobile.  It wasn't for a few hours before we found something worthy to shut down on.  We found a kelp and caught another 25 beautiful tails.  I mean beauts.

  

 

So we can't complain.  75 gorgeous  yellowtail today to go with flat calm, sunny weather.  I can think of many, many days out here where I would have paid plenty for a day like we had today.  We're making that move while we still can.  We'll be getting our Island on tomorrow.  Hopefully we can put some more quality yellows on board and fish our last couple days up there in tuna land.

  Getting to know your crew:  Mark didn't inherit his eating habits from his dad.  Nope.  Mr. Clark himself is out here in the flesh and I've bussed his plate twice now and I haven't seen a finished plate by a long shot.  Mark would never.  Especially now with him being hungry all day and all with the diet.  Oh, and I guess I have tendonitis in my Supinator muscle which is awesome  Stoked.

  Matt Hess?  Shame on you buddy.  I'm supposed to give you a shout out here and I don't even no what to say to you I'm so disappointed. We are headed south at the moment. Today will consist of mainly rigging and prepping. Primarily for Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo. We are looking for kelps today to keep them honest but our main focus is on making good speed for tomorrow.
