hit the socal surf early this mornin around 6am, skies were partly cloudy but the ocean was real nice. water temp was decent, felt good. brought my trusty 7ft medium rod with a shimano reel, paired it with some 20lb mono. caught a couple of perch but then got a solid hit, ended up landing a nice 4lb corbina! man it was a fighter. used a sand crab for bait, they were all over the sandy areas. fished till about 10am then headed out. overall a chill day, got some sun and a lil fresh fish for dinner.
