hit the lake on the 26th, was overcast and a bit cool at 20c. not many bites, only managed to catch one small bass. tried different spots but the wind was rough. it was more of a chill day out rather than a fishing day. still love being by the water!
fished on the 20th at shaver, weather was sunny and 24c. had some success with a topwater popper, got 3 bass! biggest was about 4.5 lbs, felt great reeling it in. wind was a little tricky, but so worth it for the bites. definitely coming back soon!
went fishing on the 19th, sunny and a lovely 22c out there. fishing was decent, caught a couple small trout around 2 lbs. used worms and they seemed to work fine. a bit windy at times, but nice to be out on the lake! can't wait for my next trip!
sunny day on the 18th, felt great at 19c but had some wind around noon. spent hours trying different lures, finally hooked into a nice 6 lb rainbow on a spinners! took me for a run. best catch this month! heading back next week to try my luck again.
fished on the 16th with overcast skies, felt a lil colder at 23c, and wind was kickin. started slow but ended strong. caught a few smaller bass on a crankbait, nothing over 3 lbs. i love cloudy days, fish seem to bite better for me. overall, not a bad trip! 🎣
