Polaris Supreme Report 07-14 -2016 #2 Well our yellowtail bite we had going on this morning never ended. It lasted almost 12 hours. Constant action all day long! Surface iron fish was insane! Everything we threw at them pretty much got bit. What a day and what an amazing grade these fish where! Definitely the best yellowtail fishing we have had this year! The plan for tomorrow is to use this beautiful weather to our advantage to hopefully load up on some Tuna! On another note, we have open spots on all the trips listed below:a four-day August 2a five day August 6a five day August 11a three day August 25 One last thing guys. We take a lot of pictures during the duration of every trip and some of them don't make it into these reports. The Apollo checked in with 162 Albacore today. They've had some excellent fishing with beautiful weather. The fish are still on the chew, call Fisherman's Landing for details and to check their schedule. (619) 221-8500

UPCOMING HOT TRIPS!!! We are planning on running some specialty trips sponsored by Berkley and Shimano These trips will be out of Santa Barbara, targeting White Seabass and/or shallow water Rockfish at the Channel Islands. They will have give aways and raffle prizes. Berkley Trips will be limited to 24 people and Shimano trips will be limited to 20 people. Today we were able to try our hand at Yellowtail. Fishing was far from easy.The Yellows ranged in size with some waves of fish being 8-12 lbs and other groups coming through in the 20 to 30 lb range. We did manage to set most of the smaller ones free and tag the bigger ones. Exciting day, but had to work for the larger fish. Will report tomorrow, Team Supreme

38 pass. 16 yellowfin tuna 4 skipjack. Tough day today. There was good fishing in our zone but unfortunately we missed out today. We will try again tomorrow. Come out and be the first person to ever catch a yellowfin tuna on a 3/4 day trip in December.

Captured this nice #25 Halibut today, looked at quite a bit of Yellowtail that was not biting. 

OK back to boat work! At this stage we are priming the deck and filling in the holes. Or I should say the Painters are.
