Wow what a crazy sky this evening here along the Baja coast! Yesterday we departed on our annual AHI 7 day charter. The AHI charter has been around for 23 years and going strong! Today the charter spent the day rigging up, relaxing, and unwinding to a great selection of music, complete with a special outfitted sound system here aboard Polaris Supreme for this charter. It is a truly enjoyable atmosphere here, and the weather could not be better to go with it. We are all rigged up and ready for our first day of wahoo fishing tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! Team Supreme Also we have a 10 day trip coming up with spots available! Be sure to hurry and lock in your spot so you can join us for some of this great fall fishing action!

We just departed on another 5-day. The bait isn't the best of the year by any means but it is what it is and we'll take it for what it is. We're heading straight for the albacore grounds for this afternoon and tomorrow and we'll take the trip from there. Check back.

Hello everyone, Last night was awesome for Yellowfin tuna, the guys stayed up most of the night into the early hours of the morning catching these good grade tuna. When daylight came we did not have the same luck on the tuna. However we did manage to land some Wahoo. Hopefully tonight we have a similar experience with the tuna. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Five days into the Castillo six-day trip. There's been great signs of yellowfin tuna in the 18 to 22 pound range and bluefin tuna from 18 to 75 pounds. We've done okay at scratching at all species yesterday was our best day so far. We been having trouble updating our website due to computer issues and we been really really busy! Here's a few photos of what we been up to! Signs are good out here and if you get the right school in the morning you can end up drifting all day. The yellowfin tuna are biting mostly lighter line 20 and 25 pound test has been the best. They really love those Colt snipers or any thing like them. Guys using those are smoking them. This bluefin has been biting into the night on the flat falls and live bait sinker rig. Alec you need to go have Vernon pick up two cases of squid for night time tuna fishing. Also make sure they all have some of those Colt snipers and a good 20 or 25 pound rig for the long drifts. Busy busy busy got to go. The Polaris supreme crew

Capt Ryan Bostain from the San Diego 3/4 day trip called in with a trip report from todays trip. They decided to head west from the Coronado Islands in search of some offshore fish, with the report of the tuna racing up the coast. We started they day with a stop on some really nice grade Bonito from 5 to 10 pounds and left them biting after we had 55 on the deck. We some mixed schools of Yellowfin and Bluefin and ended the day with 20 Bluefin and 36 Yellowfin that were all between 10 and 35 pounds. We had mostly beginner anglers on the boat today, very few had ever fished offshore before. We will be heading back out there tomorrow and until they go away. You will need a 20 pound bait rods, today they we biting 20-40-50-60 and even 80 pound line. If you come out with us the perfect setup will be a live bait from 20-40 pound set up, some size 2 and 2/0 hooks for either the Anchovies or Sardines. Come on down and get in on the action.
