fished the sacramento river today, it was sunny and hot out, perfect day for it! got there around 6am, right after sunrise, threw on my favorite buzzbait and bam! first cast got a nice 4lb striper. kept at it and ended up with 5 more, biggest was about 6lbs. water was flowing pretty good but saw a few spots where it slowed down, that’s where the fish were hangin out. used my 7' medium action rod with 30lb braid and it was just a blast! wind picked up a bit later, but overall a solid day on the water. can’t wait to go back soon!
