went out for a morning fish, and wow, caught a huge 6lb catfish! had my catfish rig set up, and it paid off big time. was a bit windy but still a blast. can't wait for my next trip.
fishing was epic today. sunny skies and caught a bunch of bluegills near the shore, they were hitting on worms like crazy! ended up with a cooler full. my buddy had a big one break his line though, haha. we’ll be back for sure!
back at roosevelt lake! sun was killer and managed to snag a couple 4lb bass on some crankbaits. the water was calm which was perfect for casting. stayed out till sunset, what a view! definitely my new happy place.
heavy rains today kept me from going out. had all my gear ready but just felt it was gonna be a wash. gonna check the weather for next week but heard the fish are biting after the rain stops. wish me luck next time!
thought i was gonna get skunked today with all that rain, but pulled in a few small channel cats! they were biting on stink bait. not great, but hey at least i caught something. better luck next time with the sunnier weather.
