went to ririe reservoir this evening. caught a few fish, wasn't much but hey, some days are like that. tried different lures but they were just nibbling. still had a good time relaxing by the water and watching the sun set.
misty morning fishing was a dream at ririe. only caught 2 but they were solid! both around 3 lbs. used a silver spinner, worked well in the mist. not a lot of folks out, so it felt like my own slice of paradise.
sunny day at ririe! finally! got there around 8am, temp was perfect and the fish were biting. caught 7 rainbow trout, biggest one was 4 lbs. used a powerbait rig, never fails. just chilling by the water, life is good!
fishing at ririe today was calm, but cloudy. took out my old rod with a new crankbait and it paid off! caught 6 smallmouth, all about 1-2 lbs. feelin good! temp was just right for them to bite. love this lake!
another patchy rain day, but it was good! arrived at sunrise and the bite was on. hooked 5 bass, biggest was 3.5 lbs! used a green jig head, worked like a charm. wind picked up later but I was already happy with my haul.
