hit rathbun again on the 23rd, weather was overcast and chilly. caught a few smaller bass but they weren’t really biting today. still, i love being out there. brought my son along, just being out on the boat makes it worth it, ya know?
fished on the 15th, it was a bit windy! still managed to bring in a nice 6lb catfish. used cut bait and it paid off big time! the overcast weather was a bit rough at first, but then the sun peeked through, turned out to be a solid day!
went out on the 14th, cloudy but warm, really enjoyed the weather. caught a bunch of smaller bluegills, nothing big, but they sure were fun to catch! used a bobber rig and worms, kept the kids entertained. they’re gettin’ the hang of it!
sunny day fishing on the 9th, felt amazing! hooked 2 nice largemouths, one was 5lbs! used my favorite topwater lure, they hit it like crazy. nothing beats fishing in the sun with friends, had a blast!
fished rathbun on the 8th, pretty windy day but i managed to snag a few bass! all on plastic worms, they were hiding near the rocks. the weather was kinda ehhh but the bite was on. can’t complain too much!
