Another travel day to get to the tuna grounds. Good weather and good food. Fresh tuna steaks with oriental fresh vegetables for lunch and a tasty New York steak for dinner. Once Again the ocean proves to us that everything will balance out if given enough time. Just last week it looked as if we would never touch our gaffs again. Today our 31 anglers were treated to a long drift that ended with 19 bluefin tuna from 60-100 lbs and 2 20lb yellowfin tuna. Preparation, an open mind and understanding that Mother Nature is the one one in charge is all you need. A wise old man once told me “we’re only as good as the fishing” today the fishing was very good and we are thankful.

What a great day of fishing. Just couldn't be better. Everyone has had their fill of albacore so we are heading off to do some Island fishing for some of those big yellowtail. We should be there by daybreak tomorrow. Weather is fantastic.

Hello everyone, Today we had another nice day of yellowtail fishing. We got a good morning jump on these guys and put quite a few on the boat right off the bat. There has been some tuna schools roaming around this area as well, we picked off a few mixed in with the yellowtail. However when we went out to try and find them we only had a couple jig strikes and skip jack breezers. That about wraps up our Seeker/Sadie Hawkins 3 day charter. Capt Mike Pritchard called in late last night with a report from the Tribute, they had absolutely fantastic Bluefin Tuna fishing they have seen. They ended with 72 Bluefin Tuna up to the Mid 30 lb range, we also got some Yellowtail and Bonito to round it out. The 2 fish limit for Bluefin has not gone into effect yet, so we can still keep 10 Bluefin per angler in US waters. Give us call and get in on this fantastic Tuna fishing while you can.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an audio update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had excellent offshore fishing for Yellowtail. We ended the day with 131 Yellowtail and 1 Bonito. A 25 pound bait rod was doing the trick today. We did have some surface iron action too. Please be prepared with for the Bluefin Tuna. You will need a 30 pound bait rod for the small fish. But you should also have a heavier outfit fish fishing flat fall jigs.

Well, after landing another 16 nice grade tuna, we left Alijos in search for better fishing grounds. We are in flat, clam, gorgeous weather. As we traveled we were treated to yellowfin and yellowtail sushi and sashimi that was to die for. Thanks for checking in.
