another overcast day at rathbun, fishing was alright. got a couple of carp while trying for bass. used a spinner rig. wasn't the best day, but hey, i still enjoy being out on the water, even if the fish weren't cooperating. there's always next time!
went to rathbun with my buddy. it was chilly and overcast, but we scored a few nice catfish. used stink bait and they were biting pretty good! one was 3 lbs, felt awesome on the line. just love the chill time on the lake. good day!
was planning to fish today but the weather was all weird with patchy rain. we still went out tho! caught a few small perch, but nothing too exciting ya know. the wind was crazy too, made it hard to keep the boat steady. guess it happens sometimes.
OMG it was cloudy and warm today! 22°C! brought the kids to rathbun and we caught a bunch of bluegill on worms. they loved it! biggest one was 0.8 lbs, not bad for kids. sunset was beautiful too, such a great family day. memories made!
fished rathbun today, overcast again but very chill wind. i tried my luck with a crankbait and hooked a nice 5 lb bass in about 12 feet of water. the fight was epic! can't get enough of catching these beauties. conditioning was perfect. feeling pumped!
