yikes, fishing in thunder is not my fav. went out at quarry lake and got some heavy rain, felt like I was in a monsoon! caught a little trout before heading back to shore. felt crazy, but at least I got some action before the storms rolled in!

the weather turned, heavy rain today at the lake. it was tough to fish but I managed to get a small bass. move around a lot, especially with the gusty wind. feeling soaked but I still had fun, sometimes it's about the adventure!

hit quarry lake again, mostly sunny, but not too hot at 14 degrees. caught a couple nice pike, one about 6 lbs. used a rapala, and they were hitting pretty hard! good times, nothing beats a day out fishing with the buddies!

took the kayak out on the lake on a sunny day. weather was perfect at 14 degrees. got a bunch of panfish, around 10 total. used a float and worm setup, super effective. it felt so good to be on the water, felt like summer already!

went to quarry lake to try my luck. partly cloudy but warmish at 10 degrees. managed to hook a nice bass, about 4 lbs. used a spinnerbait, worked like a charm. missed a few bites tho, they were being picky today. still had a blast!
