Good evening ladies and gentlemen. We departed this evening on a 1.5 day trip. We had a space available so we threw the trip in there and here we are. If you book it they will come. I wish it was always that easy. Anyway, we got a good load of bait number wise. We'll have to see how it lives. It lost a lot of its precious scales while we loaded it but it was swimming around the tanks well right after we loaded it like healthy bait does so we'll just have to see tomorrow. It only needs to stay alive for one day. We have some good reports in the bluefin grounds and that's where we're headed. I'll let you know how we do tomorrow tomorrow.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute this afternoon. We have had very good Yellowfin Tuna fishing. We have over 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a lot of Yellowtail and Dorado.

Hello everyone We just wrapped up another successful Simpatico five day charter put on by Vernon Burke. A great group of anglers who know how to fish hard and have fun on their five days of fishing vacation! It was a great trip this five day, we committed to big fish as opposed to big numbers. Some nice bluefin in the 60-90 lb class, the fish that were caught were the biggest these gentlemen have ever caught in their lives. The triumphs and defeats were spread pretty evenly but everyone had their chance at several quality Blufin of a lifetime! Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-17-2019 Great day fishing today on the yellowfin tuna. Over half the fish were 25 to 35 pounds. We also picked up quite a few Wahoo in the mix as well as one beautiful grouper. Definitely a fun day all away around. Our weather was absolutely beautiful except for about a four hour window mid day where the wind picked up pretty good and we got some rain. Otherwise a great day! Doing this again tomorrow. The Polaris supreme crew!

Capt Ryan Bostain from the San Diego 3/4 day trip called in with a trip report from todays trip. They decided to head west from the Coronado Islands in search of some offshore fish, with the report of the tuna racing up the coast. We started they day with a stop on some really nice grade Bonito from 5 to 10 pounds and left them biting after we had 55 on the deck. We some mixed schools of Yellowfin and Bluefin and ended the day with 20 Bluefin and 36 Yellowfin that were all between 10 and 35 pounds. We had mostly beginner anglers on the boat today, very few had ever fished offshore before. We will be heading back out there tomorrow and until they go away. You will need a 20 pound bait rods, today they we biting 20-40-50-60 and even 80 pound line. If you come out with us the perfect setup will be a live bait from 20-40 pound set up, some size 2 and 2/0 hooks for either the Anchovies or Sardines. Come on down and get in on the action.

Today was mainly a rigging day. Countless wire leaders were made and assembled by the anglers and crew. We are ready for the day brings tomorrow wish us luck.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this afternoon with an update from “The San Diego,”    We have a Coronado Islands trip that is a for sure go.  We only have 4 anglers so the light is load.
