hey y'all! fished at pine island today in the rain, it was a bit crazy but we made it work. started around 7am and the downpour didn’t let up much. water temp was nice tho, and we were using live shrimp on a 1/0 circle hook. after a few hours of just waiting, finally hooked a couple snook! one was about 25 inches, the other around 20. they put up a good fight! caught them near the mangroves, so gotta love that cover. wind picked up a bit too, but kept us cool. honestly, it was kinda refreshing despite the rain. ended up calling it a day around noon since the storms were rolling in heavier. good times out there, rain or shine! 🎣🌧️
