hey folks, hit Pickwick early this morning. was kinda misty out but ended up being a decent day. i rolled in around 5:30 am, grabbed my trusty rod with a 7' medium action setup and threw on a green pumpkin jig. within the first hour, i hooked a nice 4 lb largemouth, felt awesome! then caught another one, not as big but still fun to reel in. water temp was warm around 29°C but the fish were biting! winds were chill too, barely a breeze. packed it up around 1 pm, definitely gonna head back soon. tight lines! 🎣
