hey y’all, just got back from fishing at the local pond in okc this mornin. man, it was super humid and thunderstorms were brewing but we went for it anyway. got on the water around 7am right after sunrise and fished til noon. caught a bunch of crappie, like 15 total! mostly on jigs with white and chartreuse colors, they were hittin pretty hard in the shady spots under the trees. ended up keeping 8 nice ones for dinner. it’s always a good day when the fish are biting. just need to watch out for the storms, they rolled in fast! happy fishing!
