hit the shoreline in honolulu today, weather was kinda meh with some patchy rain but it felt nice overall. started casting around 6am before sunrise. caught a couple of papio, around 2lbs each, using a gold spoon lure. they were hittin it hard! had a few good runs but lost one that felt bigger. wind was decent at 21 km/h, so made it a lil tricky. ended up chillin on the beach for a bit after, can't complain about a day out fishing. might try again tomorrow if the weather holds up.
