overcast all day but caught a bunch of white bass, really fun to catch! best was a 2.5lber. used a small spoon lure. even had a few hits that got away. the wind made it challenging but it was really peaceful just being out there. hoping for more days like this!
rain again today! thought it would be a waste but I got lucky with a couple nice catfish. biggest was about 6lbs. fished from shore just off the rocks. used cut bait. rain kept the crowds away, so all good. got soaked again but loved every minute!
cloudy skies but that didn’t stop me, got out there again. the bite was slow but I finally got a decent 3lb pike! used a spinner. water was a bit choppy from the wind, made it kinda fun. feeling lucky to get out, can’t believe how close summer is!
finally got a sunny day out on erie! took the boat out and landed a 5lb bass! used a buzzbait and it was explosive! the wind picked up in the afternoon but it didn’t matter. caught a couple more before heading back. so pumped!
went out on a cloudy day and the fish were biting! picked up 5 nice perch near the breakwall. all around 1-2lbs. used just a standard bobber and nightcrawlers. can’t complain, felt good to be out on the water again. weather was comfy too!
