the 24th was back to overcast but it didn't stop me. caught 2 nice trout around 3 lbs each, using a small spoon. the bites were a bit slow but i enjoyed the peaceful water. still better than sitting at home!
20th was super nice and sunny again! got 7 total, all bluegill. used a simple bobber and worms. kids had an awesome time, we all loved the sun and just chillin lakeside. gonna do this more often!
sunshine galore on the 18th! hit the lake early and caught a massive 6 lb bass!! i was using a chatterbait, really got their attention. perfect weather too, friendly winds. best day out this month!
another overcast day on the 14th, pretty chill outside. caught a few catfish, about 3 lbs each. they hit on nightcrawlers. was nice to just be out there and enjoy the calm water, even without a ton of action.
the 12th was kinda rough, it rained on and off but hey, that's fishing right? only managed to snag 1 bass, like 2 lbs. used a spinnerbait but the wind was crazy. still had fun hangin out with my buddies tho.
