took a trip to Camanche Lake on May 25th, and it was cloudy with some wind. the fishing was tough, got only 1 tiny bass. but honestly, just being out there with good company made it worth it. gotta keep trying!
May 24th was overcast and pretty chill. caught 3 fish total, mostly small ones, but I had fun just relaxing with some buddies. the bites were slow but we laughed a lot, that's what matters. pack a lunch next time tho!
May 17th was a mixed bag. had some patchy rain but hit the lake anyways. used my new spinning reel and got lucky with a couple of crappie, around 2 lbs each. lost one big one tho, kinda sad but still a decent day!
what a bummer on May 12th, it was raining hard for most of the day at the lake. still, I managed to catch 1 small bass. it was tough with the wind too but hey, a little rain never hurt anybody right? just glad to be out.
man, May 11th was bright and sunny! took the boat out and landed 4 big bass, all around 4-5 lbs each. used some topwater lures, they smacked it! the wind picked up but was still a great day on the water, loved it.
