fished this morning at nd ice, sunny skies, man it was beautiful out! got there around 6am, just in time for sunrise, felt good. used my trusty old jigging rod with some small tackle and let me tell ya, the fish were biting! caught 5 nice perch, biggest was like 1.5 lbs. not huge but they put up a good fight. water temp was nice too, around 23C, i guess that helped. wind picked up a lil later but we just moved to a calmer spot. all in all, a solid day on the water. took some home for dinner, can’t wait to fry ‘em up! tight lines!
