went out to the river in fargo this morning, it was kinda chilly but i was hopeful, cloudy skies but no rain. casted my favorite jig and after about an hour of nothing, BAM! got a nice 4lb walleye! it hit hard and put up a solid fight, made my day haha. while reeling it in, a couple of guys next to me started catching some smaller pike, looked like they were having fun too. ended up staying for a few hours, caught another 2 smaller walleyes, but that first one was def the highlight. all in all, a good day on the water, can’t wait to go back. oh and i used my ugly stik rod, it’s been reliable for years now!
