Munuscong Bay Fishing Report

finally had a good day on the 28th! caught 5 nice lake trout ranging from 2-4 lbs. water was warmer, which helped a lot. used a bunch of different lures, but the firetiger pattern was the real winner today. perfect weather, felt awesome to be out there!

went out on the 26th, fog was thick! but managed to catch a couple of nice 3lb trout. used some old crank baits that worked better than expected. had to feel around a lot because visibility was low. but nothing beats the quiet of fishing in the fog!

cloudy morning on the 24th, fished with my buddy, we got skunked! only saw a couple of fish jumping. wind picked up too, made it tough to cast. but we got to catch up and joke around, which is worth more than fish sometimes!

got some rain on the 18th, but it didn’t stop me! landed 3 nice perch, around 1lb each. used a bottom rig with some worms. foggy morning made it feel kinda mysterious out there, loved it! soft bites, but once i found them, it was on.

fished munuscong today under overcast skies, not much luck. few bites but only got one little bass about 1.5lbs. had my trusty old rattletrap with me but no big ones today. really need that sun to come out next time. but hey, it’s fishing!
