Montana Lake Fishing Report

back at it again with some buddies, even with the rain a comin. managed to snag 3 decent sizes trout, had a blast. tried out a new lure, a bluegill crankbait. the fish were biting pretty good. can’t wait to go back soon!

cloudy weather today, didn’t catch much. just a couple tiny trout. used a fly rod, but they were not interested today at all. it was peaceful tho, just me and nature. sometimes it's not about the fish, ya know?

trying my luck again on a rainy day. mostly caught lil guys today, just a few bluegills. the wind picked up bit and made casting tricky. used a small bobber rigged with a worm, nothing big in the cooler but had fun. still better than sittin at home!

went back to montana lake yesterday, still some rain. caught a few perch but nothing huge. we were using jigs mostly, kept losing 'em in the weeds tho. cloudy day but still nice to be out. looking forward to sunnier days!

man, today was wild. rain came down hard but we braved it! hit my favorite spot and caught 5 smallmouths, nothing too big but fun fight. used a crankbait and it worked wonders despite the weather. soaked to the bone but it was worth it!
