Mission Bay Fishing Report

last day out at the bay for this week, it was cloudy yet again. threw a few casts and got lucky with a couple of nice flounder! used my favorite bait, live anchovies, and it worked! can't ask for much more, all and all a fun day.

yo, another overcast day at mission bay. didn’t catch much, just one little halibut, but it was still nice being out. got a few nibbles on my shrimp bait tho. wind pickin up but we stayed out till sunset, that was pretty!

cloudy day on the bay, but still got out there. caught a couple little black seabass, nothing big. used my new baitcaster with a swim shad. tough bite tho but still fun to be on the water. maybe they'll bite better next time!

fished this morning, partly cloudy skies, water was a lil warmer than last week. we got some great action on the surface with topwater lures! got a couple of nice calicos and a few sandbass. can't wait to go back!

so today was pretty chill, just me and my buddy out at mission bay. water was cold but the overcast kept us cool, caught 5 nice spotted bay bass. had the best luck with a gulp! grub on a jig head, fished it slow off the bottom. good times!
