I have yet one more opportunity for someone to jump on with us on a great charter. This trip is a 2-day trip fishing Thurs. and Fri. June 19-20. This is a very light charter and only fishes with 12 or 15 people. If you are able to go, you might find yourself becoming a permanent part of a very special charter on a regular basis. Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-17-2019 Great day fishing today on the yellowfin tuna. Over half the fish were 25 to 35 pounds. We also picked up quite a few Wahoo in the mix as well as one beautiful grouper. Definitely a fun day all away around. Our weather was absolutely beautiful except for about a four hour window mid day where the wind picked up pretty good and we got some rain. Otherwise a great day! Doing this again tomorrow. The Polaris supreme crew!

10 big bonito made up our day. Handful of opportunities at bluefin from 30-100lbs for no takers. Back at tomorrow. Bring your A game.

Aug. 22

A slow day on the Polaris Supreme today. My honey hole wasn't so much a honey hole. We had a couple stops the first half a day for some nice bluefin, yellows and dorado before taking off to what I hope tomorrow is the promise land. An example of how big the ocean is, one hour after leaving the area a code boat found a dandy school and gave me the position. Upon further investigation I noticed it was 1 mile from my earlier track line. It didn't bite for him. Now I always want my fellow boats to do well out here but you know deep down inside I was a little relieved to here that.

The weather out here is still fabulous and tomorrow is going to be a day full of bent rods, hooting and hollering and a boat full of tired people. I can feel it.

"Today we went offshore you know we have some political stuff going on at the Coronado Islands," said Ryan Bostian captain of the San Diego. "So we are fishing offshore for the time being. It looks like our timing was pretty darn good. Today we went out there and caught 15 Bluefin tuna and 13 Yellowtail. It's nice to be able to go out there on a 5:30 to 5:00 trip and catch exotics like Bluefin tuna. We had one really good shot at them. They were boiling on the corner.

"Most of our group today were beginner fishermen. If you are looking to join us for some offshore fishing our next Open Party trip is next Thursday. This Thursday we will be fishing Open Party, we will be on out offshore schedule. That means a 5:30 to 7:00 trip. The ticket price is $115 which includes your Mexican fishing license. We saw a good sign of Bluefin tuna. It seemed like every kelp paddy had a few Yellowtail on it, but we're mainly fishing the Bluefin out there. Some schools bite, some do not, but there are certainly plenty of them out there. If you'd like to join us please make reservations at 619-224-3383."

Wednesday, September 26th, 2012

Hi friends. We departed on our second day and a half trip this evening and --to everyones surprise-- loaded up with some healthy looking sardines. We'll see how they live throughout the night but we're happy with what we see so far. Sounds like the fishing is good offshore on some footballs but those healthy bluefin made an appearance today as well. With a good looking weather forecast on the horizon, we're excited to get down to the zone and see what we can do.

We'll chat with you tomorrow and report on our day. Wish us luck and hopefully, we'll do better than the NFL replacement officials did this season. Take care.
