Milwaukee River Fishing Report

fishing in fog on may 25, temp was about 10C. a bit eerie but kinda cool! caught a few decent catfish, like 3lbs each. used some stink bait, they were hungry. overall a unique day on the river, loved it!

another overcast day on may 19, it was around 7.5C. had better luck today with some nice smallmouth bass, around 2 lbs each. jigs seemed to do the trick. can't complain, just good to be out on the water again.

sunny day on may 9th, finally! temp was around 11C, so much better. caught 4 bluegill on a bobber with worms. the calmness was nice, just chill with the water and birds. made the day so enjoyable. can’t wait to go again.

hit the river again on may 8th, it was super windy but I managed to catch a nice 3lb trout! used a silver spoon that I found in my tackle box. felt awesome and the sunset was beautiful too. love fishing even when it’s tough.

overcast and cool on may 5th. didn't see much action except for one little bass I caught. tried throwing some crankbait but no luck. should've brought a warmer jacket, was freezing out there. hope next time will be better.
