Middle Chesapeake Bay Fishing Report

fished the bay under overcast skies, didn’t expect much but wow! landed a nice 5 lb striper! fought like crazy, used a crankbait that was just killing it. had a great time, can’t ask for more. looking forward to more trips like this!

finally some patchy rain today! kept things interesting. caught 5 nice flounder, all over 2 lbs! used my favorite gulp baits, they really came through. felt good to get some action after last week’s tough outing. sunshine peeking through at the end was a bonus!

what a struggle today, it was chilly and rainy pretty much all day. only caught a couple of small rockfish, really had to work for em. used some jigs but nothing was really biting. still had a good time, good company at least. hope for better weather soon!

another rainy day out there, ugh. tried to fish but it was a bit of a flop. we caught a few tiny perch and called it quits pretty early. the rain just wouldn’t let up. but hey, we got to enjoy some hot coffee on the boat and laughed it off. can't win em all!

man today was WET, like heavy rain showers the whole time! but we toughed it out and landed 3 decent catfish. nothing huge but the drag was screaming a few times. used shrimp as bait and had fun just chatting with the crew. soaking wet but smiles all around!
