Hello Supreme Fans, We started our morning off at one of the lower banks. Having talked to one of our code group boats that had fair fishing on bigger grade tuna. At first light we started to catch skipjack tuna and a few grouper. By mid morning we pulled the pick and started to go look around for that boomer school, and we found one! but it was not to be for us as the school didn't want nothing to do with us. After lunch we dropped the anchor and started to get some school size tuna to bite. We stuck it out there for the rest of the day and it paid off Tom Studley hooking and landing a 110 pounder. Just before dinner we pulled the anchor and headed for the bait grounds to restock our bait supply. Wish us luck. The Supreme Team.

Good morning everyone, Yesterday started off slow, we tried a new area this morning that has not been given a good morning try in a while. However it did not pay off, all we have to show for our efforts is a few Striped Marlin. As we worked our way around we found a few batches of Wahoo spread out though out the area. A nice way to break up the search in this scorching baja heat. We did end up finding some biting tuna. A great grade of fish from 13-25 lbs. Fantastic action here to cap off the day. We are looking to top off our tuna count today and focus on Wahoo for the remainder of today. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-20-2016Good afternoon everyone. We departed today on the Joe Beck/Bob Vance Annual 5 Day Charter. Not long after the morning offload, the boat was fueled up, groceries loaded we were headed out to the tuna grounds that have recently popped up. There isn't much time to waste when there can be quite a bit of time to fish on the departure day of a 5 day trip. We loaded up on a fairly descent variety of sardine, got all of our seminars out of the way and went right into rigging up. We arrived at the area we wanted to look at not too long after lunch and stumbled on few schools right away. Nothing wanted to bite in any volume right off the bat, but Tom Christiansen got down with his jig and managed to hook up on something nice. After about a good half hour on the bow, he was able to land about a 110 lb. beautiful bluefin tuna. Not bad at all for his effort on 40 lb.test. Great way to start the trip. We spent the remainder of the day trolling around yummy flyers trying to locate a nice school to shut down on, but it looked like the fish went down for the afternoon. We'll camp out here tonight, enjoy a nice prime rib dinner and get back at it first thing in the morning. Well check back in with you tomorrow.Tight lines,Team Supreme

July 24

Good evening everyone. Today was more of the same as the last couple days. Still seeing tons of fish. Still struggling to get bites. Same thing. See a school, stop and catch fish one at a time. The cool thing about it is we're stopped fishing a lot more then regular fishing days so we're staying occupied. The only thing different for us today was that we saw multiple schools of big bluefin. The 50-80 pound stuff but it's even harder to get one of those to bite. We ended up hooking a few and landing a couple of 70 pounders. We'll do it again for one more day, the last fishing day of this trip. Hopefully they'll want to bite better tomorrow. There is no way we would leave this zone with all the fish we are seeing.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute on the second day of their trip, we have had very good fishing so far. Yesterday we had around 60 Yellowfin Tuna, 20 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna in the 70 pound range, and 1 Dorado, today was more of the same with around 50 mixed fish so far and hopefully more to come. Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-23-2019 We left yesterday on an eight day private charter with 10 anglers! We got a nice load of bait in San Diego and had really smooth sailing down all day. Today the same program on the weather it was absolutely gorgeous all day and of course the usual rigging good food napping and camaraderie amongst crew and passengers. Looking forward to getting to the fishing grounds tomorrow! Seriously watching a gnarly storm coming in over Thanksgiving! May slide in a day early just to avoid a serious beating. Standby for more on that one were watching it closely. Looks like it's going to be a lot of good rain for California though. The Polaris Supreme Crew!
