had a cloudy day out on the lake, but the fish were active! used a heavier weight and a worm bait. caught 6 or 7 smallmouths all around 2-3 lbs. woulda caught more if it wasn't so windy! still, great vibes with the guys, can't complain about that!
another outing to mammoth lakes, and we got real lucky! nice partly cloudy weather, perfect for fishing! used some of my favorite lures, and caught 3 good size trout! they were fighting like crazy. water temp was decent, and the wind felt nice. love this spot!
my buddy and I hit mammoth again, this time clear skies. the fish were kinda chill but managed 4 nice ones using topwater. got a 5lb monster, couldn't believe it! sun was shining on the water, everything just felt right today. can't wait to go back!
gorgeous day at the lake, partly cloudy and warm! I went out with my dad, we used our classic spinning rods with some cranks. nailed 5 bass! all around 3-4 lbs each. they were more aggressive today, one jumped right outta the water! we were hootin and hollerin.
well, tried my luck today and it paid off. caught a few decent sized browns (about 4lbs each) on a jerkbait. got soaked by the rain but who cares, right? it was pretty fun catching them in the rain, not a soul in sight. got a nice pic too, can't wait to share it!
