1 bluefin tuna 97 yellowtail. The consistency of the Coronado Islands this year is truly amazing. Bait, yo yo and surface iron are all producing.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We had a couple good shots today. Our 25 anglers ended up with 20 Yellowtail and 20 Rockfish.

Come on out fishing we us now. We have been having light loads and the weather has been great.

We have a few open spots on this weekends 2.5 day charter to Colnett and surrounding areas! We had good signal on yellowtail this last trip, and ended up with 55!! To go with wonderful rock fishing and shallow water lingcod!! These trips are set to early depart at 5pm for maximum fishing time!! The Tribute checekd in with us today with 88 fat Yellowfin Tuna and 54 Skipjack for their angler’s today. Most of the fish came during a wide open bite first thing in the morning.

Captain Jodie Morgan called in with a wrap up from their recent 2 day trip last night. We had 75 Bluefin Tuna (in the 30 to 40 pound class), 63 Yellowtail, and a Dorado. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-13-2016 We had another fun day today! Today was a little different though most of the fun was catching fish not traveling. We had very good yellowtail fishing all day, we started off right at the crack of dawn with flurry fishing which progressed into a wide-open bite for several hours and then flurry fishing again! After a midday low it all started up again through the rest of the day. We were catching fish mostly on bait. Fly lighting was number one with dropper loop fishing coming in a close second. We didn't have a lot of jig fish but that probably was contributed to the fact that we didn't have anyone fishing jigs most of the time. Weather is excellent and were hoping to do this again tomorrow. Thanks for tuning in the Polaris Supreme Team!
