lunar Fishing Report 2024

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute called in a trip wrap for todays trip, it was very good fishing this morning, with some highs and lows. We ended with 31 mixed tuna and 25 very nice grade yellowtail. Yo yo and fly lining worked very well for, and are still getting some hook ups in the dark while sitting on a kelp patty. Hello everyone, Today we had a nice day of fishing. We checked out a few spots for nothing, trolled up a Wahoo, and found a dead Dolphin. The Dolphin was holding a sea of Dorado. It was as much as you wanted. The grade was slightly larger than the fish up north. Defiantly a bite to get our blood flowing after 2 days of driving. Hopefully we can find some more Wahoo tomorrow. We also caught a Sierra, a rare fish to catch on a long range boat, but very common in the Sea Of Cortez and closer to shore. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

After a couple of slow days for the fleet we decided to go out on a search mission. Our morning was spent chasing 30 lb bluefin that we’re very difficult to hook. Around 12:30 our sonar lit up with the sweet sound of shallow, spread out yellowfin tuna. After 3 1/2 hours and ten short stops. Our 30 anglers were able to drop 123 yellowfin and 1 bluefin into the refrigerated Sea Water. Best success came on flyline bait on 25-40 lb, colt snipers and poppers. We will continue to fish offshore and target whatever we see.

We started fishing in the dark and went full speed all day long on beautiful grade tuna 30-40 lbs. with several in the 80-120 lb. class being caught on the kite. We had several heart breakers with the sharks eating some of the big ones. The day was spiced up with a handful of wahoo. Our weather is absolutely gorgeous. Flat calm heavy overcast. We had a great day and are excited to try it again tomorrow. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Happy fourth of July! Well things didn't improve much, just a handful or so, so we are heading back up to finish off our excellent albacore trip with some local fishing. We will be at the dock Thursday morning at 7:30.

Well guys, we have thrown in the towel on our offshore season. I would first like to start out by thanking everybody who has come out with us this past season. To our loyal regulars, thank you very much for continuing to support us even though we were very crowded at times this past year. To our new customers, I hope we met all your expectations and look forward to fishing with you in the future.

Welcome to the San Diego family. 2012 has been a season I won't soon forget. From starting our season in La Jolla to getting kicked out of the Coronado Islands and then experiencing the best offshore fishing we have seen in years. This past season was a very unique one.

Here are our plans for the next 4 months. Since we are still unable to fish the Coronado Islands, we will be fishing in U.S. waters from the border up to Oceanside. These trips will be available Friday thru Monday and will depart at 7:00 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. the cost will be $80. These trips will target a wide range of fish. Yellowtail, white sea bass, calico bass, sandbass, halibut, sheephead, rockfish and rock cod will all be on the menu. I will put together a suggested tackle list in the next few days. We will do everything in our power to make sure we have live squid available on these trips.

Coronado Islands: rest assured that our issues at the Coronado are being worked on tirelessly by both Countries involved. I will keep everybody posted on any new developments. As soon as we are able to return to the islands you will be the first to know.

There is a mix of Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack, and Dorado. We have 180 Yellowfin Tuna and they are biting on everything. Good evening everyone, Today we rolled up the beach on our last day of our A.H.I 8 day trip. The charter masters put together an amazing award ceremony with shirts, prizes, and trophies. This was the perfect way to end the trip along with a very nice dinner from chef Mike. Talk about next years trip was already in progress, and these anglers cant't wait to be back. Next year will mark their 25th A.H.I charter. This just goes to show the groups organization and passion for being on the water. This was a very well rounded trip with everything you could ask for, great weather, good fishing and most importantly, everyone had a great time with us.
