louisiana Fishing Report

Hey y’all, went out fishing on the bayou today and wow what a trip! Started early around sunrise, was super humid but dang didn’t let that stop me! Caught a couple nice catfish, around 4-5 lbs each, right near the cypress trees. Used my trusty old Zebco rod with some chicken liver for bait, seemed to be what they wanted. Weather was kinda all over the place, had some thunder rumbling a bit but it didn’t rain on us thank goodness. Had the best time with my buddy Dave, we were hootin’ and hollerin’ every time we reeled one in! Took a few pics before releasing them back, and headed back as the sun dipped down. Can’t wait to do it again, y’all! 🐟💙
